ENRIQUE M. de CASTRO, MD
Dr. Enrique M. de Castro, a graduate of Loyola University and the University of Mexico, founded the NWWC in 1972. He completed his residency through OHSU, where he continued on as a Clinical Professor and teaching Preceptor in his field of OB/GYN. He has been Past President of the Portland OB/GYN Society and the Oregon OB/GYN Society, and a member of Prestigious National and International Medical Societies. Dr. de Castro has been a principle investigator in over 50 research studies on women’s health issues. In his free time, he enjoys golf, tennis, historical novels, and traveling with his wife.

ROBERTO M. de CASTRO, MD
Dr. Roberto M. de Castro, an honors graduate of New York Medical College joined the NWWC in 1991. He completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in OB/GYN where he received honors and teaching awards. He was appointed Clinical Associate Professor of OB/GYN at OHSU and has served as Chairman of the Oregon Section of the American College of OB/GYN. He lives in Portland with his wife and three children and is an avid skier; fly fisherman, bicyclist, and tennis player in his free time.


AMY BRUNER, MD
Dr. Amy Bruner, a graduate of the University of California, Davis and the Medical College of Virginia joined the NWWC in 1997. She completed her residency at the University of California, Davis, Medical Center where she specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology and was appointed Chief Resident. She is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN and has published research work in her field. She is an active member of the American Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and the Association of Lasers in Surgery and Medicine. She lives in Portland with her husband and two sons, and pursues her passions for orchids and classical piano.


ROBIN W. BARRETT, MD
Dr. Robin W. Barrett is a graduate of Georgetown University and the Ohio State University College of Medicine, summa cum laude. She joined the NWWC in 2001. She completed her residency at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Ohio where she received honors and teaching awards. She has also participated in volunteer medical work at Georgetown and in Nicaragua. She is fluent in Spanish, loves distance running and lives in Portland with her husband and two daughters.

MICHAEL W. DAVIS, MD
Dr. Michael W. Davis, a graduate of California Polytechnic & the University of California, Davis Medical School, joined the NWWC in 2002. He completed his residency at Oregon Health and Science University, where he won awards for teaching students and residents. He is proficient in Spanish, and performed volunteer work in Mexico and Guatemala in OB/GYN. He, his wife Shawna, and their son, Jack enjoy the outdoors, hiking in the Gorge, cooking, travel, and the movies. His philosophy of medicine is: the better a patient understands her body & its physiology, the better she can maintain or improve her own health. To that end, he strives to inform his patients about their health habits and choices.
 

SARAMATI J. KRISHNA, MD
Dr. Saramati J. Krishna is a graduate from Ursinus College of Medicine (MCPHahnemann University). She graduated in 2003. She completed her residency in Phoenix, Arizona. She joined NWWC in 2008. She is fluent in four languages, including Spanish, French, Hindi, and Tamil. She enjoys Indian music, cooking, and traveling with her husband and young son.


REBECCA A. KYLE, DO
Dr. Rebecca A. Kyle graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, magna cum laude. She completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she was appointed Chief Resident. She joined the NWWC in 2008. She has special interests in chronic pelvic pain, and pediatric and adolescent gynecology. She lives in Portland with her husband and young daughter, and enjoys hiking and cooking in her free time.

LINDA ADAMS, RN, MS, CNM
Linda Adams, RN, MS, CNM, received her Bachelors and Masters Degree from the University of Hawaii. She received her Post-Masters Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery at OHSU. She has taught nursing and OB/GYN in the nursing program at OHSU and the University of Por tland. Linda has helped hundreds of mothers deliver healthy babies in a hospital setting. She lives in Portland, and is the mother of four children. She enjoys quilting & has an avid interest in Russian culture.


ANNIE M. HULME, RN, MSN, CNM
Annie M. Hulme, Certified Nurse Midwife, came to Oregon in 1977 from her native India, where she attended several hundred births. She earned her Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Pune, India, and her Master’s degree from the University of Portland in 1987. She joined NWWC in 2005, and has helped over 5,000 mothers deliver babies in a nurturing setting. She empowers women through their birthing process, with emphasis on a safe, satisfying and family centered childbirth. Her hobbies include walking, hiking, camping, & combing the beaches for treasures. She lives in Portland, & enjoys spending her free time with her three boys, Ajay, Amit, and Anil, and grandson Caleb.
